In recent years there has been a move towards playing bingo online.

The online option offers players two main advantages.  The first is that bingo fans can play whenever they want to, day or night, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  The second is that they can play from the comfort of their own home without having to get dressed up or organise baby sitters.  There are also other advantages.  For example, a player can deposit play money straight from their credit card without their friends knowing their personal financial preferences (you know how it goes – “Oh, you must be a gambling addict because you’re using your credit card to play”).  Also, it’s not always convenient to fit a busy family life in around the opening times of the local bingo hall, so you can play when it suits you and not when it suits Gala or Mecca to open their doors. 

Most online players probably still also go to the bingo hall once or twice a week, but with the online option they don’t have to wait to be able to play their favourite game;  they can just boot up the home computer and play on their own schedule.

Imagine it.  Feed the family, put the kids to bed, do the washing up. Hubby goes off down the Legion for a pint.  You watch ‘Corrie’ and ‘East Enders’, then get online and play a few bingo games.  What a nice way to spend the evening – doing what you like most!
