PartyGaming buys UK bingo operator Cashcade

One of the world’s leading online gaming companies PartyGaming has announced that it has bought UK online bingo operator Cashcade. Founded in 1999, Cashcade operates some of the UK most popular online bingo sites including Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo and Cheeky Bingo and has an estimated 2.2 million registered players throughout its sites.

Managing Director of the Cashcade group Patrick Southon talked about the merger saying: “This is an exciting day for Cashcade and we are delighted to join the PartyGaming organisation. We believe there is a substantial opportunity to leverage our existing business now that we are part of the world’s leading online gaming company.”

The deal is said to be worth an initial payment of £71.9 million, with a further £24 million depending on future profit performance. The new deal catapults PartyGaming into the top three biggest online gambling companies in the world; this includes online poker, sports betting, casino and bingo sectors.
