Basic Guide to Bingo
Bingo is one of the world’s most beloved games – elegant in its simplicity, and yet a tremendous amount of fun.
The object of any bingo game is to cover and claim your individual game patterns on your card, before another individual can claim their card is covered first. Most online bingo sites allow you to play with three or more cards. Other sites will allow a greater number of bingo cards. In a real time setting, like a casino or a bingo hall, you can cover as many cards as you can, without overwhelming yourself.
Bingo has many variation patterns, although the same basic card is used for each pattern draw. Each bingo game has a display board or caller that announces each draw. The draw lag time is only about ten seconds, so you have to have a keen eye and a quick hand with the pen. There are sites that will mark your cards automatically for you, but that is as much fun as having your spouse cut up your meat in a fancy restaurant. The draws continue until a player or players claim “bingo”. The game is halted immediately and the cards are checked for accuracy.
If no true bingo has been called, the game resumes until another player calls “bingo”. If the numbers have been verified and there is a true bingo, the prize or cash money is awarded. Old cards are discarded, new cards are distributed and the fun of a hunt to seek numbers games is on again.
