The UK’s second largest online gambling firm, 888 holdings has announced a 40% rise in profits after the company introduced its new games. 888 Holdings stated that the introduction of their online bingo site, 888ladies.com had boosted revenues and encouraged customers to join the site.

888 had been struggling with a loss in revenue since the US banned overseas gambling websites. 888 turned their attention to the UK market, introducing more sports betting sections to their site and strengthening their poker and bingo sites in a bid to attract new customers.

Although 888’s biggest earner is still their casino games, over 55% of their revenue, the company believes its poker, sport betting and bingo sites have contributed to its 40% profit rise.
